Not Every Day…

Two weekends ago, B had the pleasure of traveling to Ireland to give a presentation with his former supervisor. They were invited to a country-wide event called Maths Week because of the work they did to improve the math curriculum in his former district. It was a great event and B was lucky enough to have his father in the audience!

With seven hours time difference and no direct flights B boarded a 12 hour flight headed for France before connecting to a quick flight to Dublin.  Odd part about flying an international flight from Shanghai to Paris on Air France, two languages were spoken in flight and neither of them were English.   B slept on the flight since it departed locally at 11:30pm, this was one of two nights out of five that he spent sleeping on a plane.  The trip was both a valuable experience and memorable moment for B.
